Lynn Cavo's Buttermilk Cobbler
This dessert was a big hit back at F.E. Warren Air Force Base and it is still terrific...especially with ice cream (with no hard or chewy pieces in it, of course)! We think of Lynn Cavo with a smile.

1 c. Bisquick
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. sugar
1 stick (1/4 lb.) butter
2 c. fresh or frozen blueberries, peaches, etc.

Set oven at 350°. Spray a 3 qt. casserole or 10 inch pie plate with a nonstick spray such as Pam. Melt butter in the baking dish. Gradually add the sugar, buttermilk and Bisquick. Stir just to dissolve the lumps and add the fruit.

Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes until bubbly and golden. Sprinkle with a little more sugar.

Serve cobbler warm or room temperature with ice cream.

This should serve about 12 people.
